Atty. Emil Karlo Ll. Joven has over fifteen (15) years of experience as a civil, corporate, and criminal litigator. A former bank executive, he is adept in handling banking, real estate, commercial, and corporate matters, as well as overseeing clients’ compliance before government agencies and regulators. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2007 and was admitted to the Bar in 2008, after earning his BA in Psychology from the University of the Philippines–Diliman in 2003.
Prior to founding ELJ Law Office in 2021, he was a Founding Partner of Tongol Joven & Associates (2017–2020), a Junior Partner at Delloro Espino & Saulog Law Offices (2012–2016), and an Associate at Calleja Law Office (2007–2012). He is also a trusted counsel for property concerns, having successfully handled numerous cases involving titling, documentation, transfers, development, and recovery of property.
